Who the hell does these people think they are? That friggin’ discusting. Of course they are red necks with their jacked up truck too… they better have called a trash removal company to pick all the garbage up!
Can anyone say global warming…

Actually this is a wonderful benefit of Santa Clara. Once a year we have a spring clean out and everything just about can be put out on the street and the city clears and cleans the streets. A great way to keep your neighborhood sparkling.

Used to work for a trash company. Trust me, we hate it when we have to go pick these up. A roll of dumpster is SO much easier on everybody.

It is called ‘Santa Clara Cleanup Day’. It is a mess.
1. Garbage blows all around the streets until it is picked up.
2. Scrounges come and pick through the trash.
3. Some people dump waaay more than their share while others don’t dump any.
4. It is funded with city tax dollars which doesn’t seem appropriate in times where funds are so limited.
In summary, individual homeowners should pay for their own trash pickup - not dump it all over the streets!
